I saw Chisora on his debut, thought he wasn't very good to be honest. Watched his progression, listening to the hype and still think he's no where near as good as they are saying. However, he's young, he IS improving and he has a good jab when he uses it properly. I think if he doesn't get carried away, and gets into good condition, he could, could develop into something decent domestically, i think he'll be quite exciting once his opposition steps up. I'm not saying he'll win all his fights when he steps up a little, but he'll be exciting. Exciting is what we need for sure over here when it comes to the domestic heavies! I can't see him going beyond british/commonwealth level.. although as he is young, he could change and knuckle down and improve greatly.
Looking at Dels opponent on Friday he seems to have a comfort eating issue. Only 18 months ago he was fighting at the cruiser limit but in the intervening period he has slapped on over 4 stone in weight....he is not the type of opposition that young fighters can learn anything off, he was just a grossly overweight punchbag.
I was in the pub, had had a few beers and was watching on a small telly up in the corner. I saw nothing but fat in either of them. Never seen either fight before wont be bothered if I don't see them again. If that's all this Chisora has i'd stick Fury in with him next week. At least TF has the good grace to stretch out his fat by being very tall.
Saw a couple of rounds in the pub and to be honest it was awful.Neither of the guys in the ring looked as though they had trained. If Chisora wants to be taken seriously he needs to get in shape for his next fight.Fridays debacle was a bit of a joke.
i saw an interview with he where he said he was going to bypass british and commonwealth and go straight for euro and world titles. the guy thinks hes world class already and doesnt have the right attitude.
so far he looks rubbish. he talks alot but fights like ****. another nobody who shouldnt be hyped. he doesnt look or play the part. he doesnt even talk the part.
