Others usually smother mayweather hoping that skin tight pressure pays off, but Augustus and Floyd stayed in front of each other all night was it Augustus who made Floyd fight by **** talking or was Floyd trying to prove something after the long lay off?

Come to think of it he was coming off a lay off, does this guy ever have ring rust?

Because Floyd knew he could win the exchanges most of the time.

He has a good chin and good stamina and I think Floyd went out there thinking he could finish him. Floyd was fighting aggressively, but you could see him turn it up once he got Emanuel hurt and when he didn't go down, it just turned into a dog fight

The Burton fight was right before he fought Chico. It was an over the weight fight, and at the time Floyd was told to just go straight into the Chico fight, but Floyd wanted rounds, and he got busted up a bit before he stopped Burton in a good fight. That fight helped prepare Floyd for Chico.

Mayweather wanted to fight. He was intentionally trying to make it a fan friendly fight because he was desperate to become a star. He would argue over Arum over not being promoted properly and not having a billboard, etc.

^This. I remember Floyd saying before the fight that he wanted to be more offensive in order to help him break into the mainstream. Well he sure as hell backed up what he said. This has to rank in the top 5 of Floyd's most entertaining fights.
