Without even appearing to exert himself. That's how.

floyd used his size, floyd made marquez go up from 135 to 144 making jmm sloppy at the weight. Last will be his ability

100 percent skill. The size argument only really works if Mayweather was out muscling and walking through shots, he wasn't.

I know size plays a part, but to be honest, he didn't really use his size like you would think. You would use your size to rough someone up and use it on the inside, but he did neither. He chose good counters, had quick reflexes and that's it. If anything, it should have made Mayweather fractionally slower.

    25% size, 75% ability

He would of won of won no matter what but clearly 75% size, there's weight classes for a reason though ******s will act like making a old fighter that was slower than you to begin with jump 2 weight classes and then not even making the weight oh yeah they had different contracts (..shocking we only learned this the day before the fight) means nothing. I just don't understand how people can be so stupid if David Haye made Dawson move up to heavyweight and Haye dominated and knocked him out would it all be cause of skill?

Marquez going up in weight ultimately diminished his ability to execute his skills and his athleticism

Floyd didn't knock him out. He controlled distance beautifully, countered and popshotted his way to an easy UD. Sure, weight was a factor, but it wasn't the deciding factor. Skill was.

I didn't say he did, was using a random analogy the point was you can always say skill's the deciding factor and it is but lets not pretend like weight means nothing what if Ricardo Lopez fought Arguello at 130 obviously he'd lose very bad would you say Arguello won because he's just that good makes top fighters look bad ..thats a over the top example but what im trying to say.

Bad analogy. Yes, weight was a factor. Skill was more of a factor as evidenced by the fact that Floyd easily outboxed Marquez.

the size was a huge factor but an even bigger factor was marquez jumping a couple of weight classes. this made him slow and he got his body muscle all wrong

75 percent marquez physical status/weight class

    15 percent size

    10 percent ability
