How did Floyd Patterson retain his speed even until 37?

    Same work ethic as Usyk, who is virtually, the same age as Floyd was in his last fight.
    Floyd had 3 times the amount of pro fights, but only 40’ish, compared to Usyk’s, nearly 400 amateur fights.

    Yes. Floyd Mayweather Sr is on YouTube in his 70's still displaying sizzling hand speed. If a guy is gifted with quick hands and has the muscle memory of decades of hitting the speed bag, shadow boxing, etc, they'll usually continue to have quick hands barring an injury or condition such as arthritis.
