    Agreed.

There was nothing lucky about that punch.

I just watched that fight the other night and George definately had a plan which Moorer was only too happy to cooperate with.

For the life of me I can't figure out why Moorer stood right there in front of the biggest puncher the HW divsion has ever known all freggin' night...

I met him once @ the MGM on the day of the Barrera Morales remtach.

    Very nice guy.

well, couple of different opinions of his 'second' career there..
what i was trying to say was that he was never supposed to have gotten anywhere near that level at that age and after that long out....i remember when he began his comeback in 87 {?}, and i was an avid follower of the sport and read a lot about it in the boxing mags, and the opinion was that he was going to embarress himself, reporters were basically taking the **** out of him, others were openly worried for his well-being, but nobody, nobody expected him to go all the way
regardless of what performances he put in in some peoples eyes, the fact that he worked his way to get back to that level is astonishing....and not just the fact of his age, but combining it with a ten year absence...
i think he's one of the great heavyweights when you combine both careers.
not explaining myself well, but i know what i mean :)
