No, Usyk did not take the winter off because of his shoulders. He was going to have 5 months off regardless of his shoulders. Nobody "took this winter off", the undisputed fight had to be rescheduled because the Joshua rematch was postponed by a month.

 

No, I was in agreement over Furys elbows. I then stated "Im sure we'll hear all about Usyks surgery when Fury unifys", suggesting that excuses will come (and they will). I dont know if Usyk had surgery or not, and I had no issue with him having his break due to all that is going on in his home country. You wont find me calling Usyk a duck anywhere!

There’s not a surgeon born from their mother who knows more about surgery than Tyson Fury.

 

Fury had those elbow problems after his third Wilder fight, he's been even spotted with some bandage on one of them. It's not impossible to have those traumas calling out again, just as Usyk decided he has some after his second sparring with Joshua. Just as he decided he's a devoted Christian and doesn't fight around Easter, despite he did it already three times, but was a good moment to say so, because he decided it after Fury confirmed his December fight. So let just cut all those craps and let see how it'll go, Fury says those injuries shouldn't be a problem.
