What the **** is all this 'He should have pulled out of the fight' bollocks?

And what the **** is all this 'it happened during the ringwalk' bollocks?

He clearly stated around 5 times now since the fight that it happened WEEKS AGO!!!! He'd have been far better served saying it happened during the ring walk if that had've been the case.

Wasn't limping at all in the build up to the fight :good
Wasn't limping throughout the fight :good
Had no trouble throwing himself widly as he missed right hand after right hand :good
Still sparring Price the penultimate week leading to the fight :good
Only trying to distance himself from the toe excuse now because of the media backlash :good

**** me this forum is full of goons at times. Just ****ing face it...... He's a loudmouthed gobshite who failed to deliver on the hype he'd created and then still didn't have the class to credit Wladimir, deciding instead to use a ready made excuse.

Peeople saying 'oh but he's coming across well in this interview.... He's giving Wlad credit in this interview.............. ****ING WAKE UP !!!!!!!!!!! He's doing so now because since Saturday night the press and public have turned against him.

The mans class shone through in his immediate post fight interview when he was asked his OWN opinion. Not 2 days later after his Manager/PR team have had time to advise him of the best things to say following a slaying in the press.

The fool brought it on himself. In fairness he did try to deflect from it yesterday, but thats only after he realised what a tit of himself he was making...

I believe he broke his toe before the fight.

I just karma playing its hand a bit. If he hadnt arsed about signing for fights and pulling out for the last three years he could have postponed the fight a few weeks and his toe would have healed.

A few years back I was drunk and larking about with a supersoaker, I jumped down some steps, landed on a bag of rubbish, broke a toe and sliced one to the point of needing stitches.
I was also playing drums in a band and had 33 dates left to play on a European tour. The foot i mangled was my right foot that kicks the bass drum pedal, that I had to kick for 45 minutes each and every night.

It wasnt much fun, but with pain killers and adrenaline, I didnt feel a thing and certainly by the end of the tour it was no longer that sore, so the fact Haye did it 3 weeks ago leads me just to laugh at his statement.

He's deserves all the crap coming his way. He hurt his little toe FFS and if he couldnt put that to the back of his head on his biggest night in his career then he's not a champion whatever he does, he's a *****. Simples.

It’s not like he lost by much scores were a bit wide.

Playing drums = 12 rounds of elite level heavyweight boxing :think

At least... Bunce 7-5 is closer than 1 or 2 rounds.

Point being he had 36 minutes for his entire career to man up and just forget about the toe, but he couldn't. And with it being done 3 weeks prior, I'm just sat here almost speechless because 3 weeks is good healing time when you have access to top medicine and medial experts.
I had average medical treatment, had a broken toe and stitches and had to do 45 minutes ever night for 33 nights. It wasnt a career defining moment for me. Would have been easy to pull out, but sometimes you just man up.

not denying the point your making, just adding that there are many different types of break you can cause to a bone, some are less painful than others, and some heal quicker than other, that is all.

since i have never broken my little toe, or experienced the pain Haye was going through at the time, i can't really have much of a say on the matter but just i was a little dissapointed with the excuse he was using

Yup, I hear you and I've never boxed at elite level, so can't really comment there to be fair either. But my experience with using a foot with broken toes isn't ideal, but it did leave me thinking "what a load of pony" for an excuse.
I guess i just expected an elite level fighter to have a stronger mental mind set when it came to his big dance.

The toe on fight night isn't the issue....he stopped sparring three weeks before first bell, thats the issue. No sparring results in you getting your head kicked in, thats irrefutable. He had a slim chance of beating Wlad at 100%, he had no chance at anything less than that.
