How did Jack Johnson travel to fight around the world in the 1910-1920s?

    He fought in France, Spain, Australia, Argentina, etc. In 1907 he fought in Australia. How did he travel at that time? Were there airplanes available already, or did they use ship? Did he stay in the country for some time, because the travel time was long?

    He took ships around the world.

    I think he was on the same ship as Tommy Burns, hounding him to fight him.
