TKO2 is promising. He's been inconsistent lately, which is unfortunate because people were finally just starting to listen to the buzz and pay attention. Still can't believe Telefutura had to cancel this show
I can't say he looked any better than he did in his last few fights since it ended so quickly, but he looked highly motivated and dominated his opponent, so what more could you ask for? Lau got overwhelmed and dropped by (from what I remember) a short, pretty sneaky right hand and the fight was stopped soon after when Soto-Karass swarmed him. The stoppage might have been a bit early, but it didn't really matter, Lau was clearly on his way to getting knocked out after that KD. 2009 is going to ****ing suck without Solo Boxeo. BTW, did you catch Mtgawa-Villa? That was one of the best low level brawls I've ever seen in my life. It was better than Gatti-Ward IMO. No matter what happens in Mtgawa's career, he can always look back at this fight and show it to his kids, etc. Unbelievable.
