How? Such a great cuban legend? was it fixed? Even in the final of the olympics he got close. The cuban was so great such brilliant ring genious yet dumb no IQ amir khan beats him?

Kindelan was past prime in the Olympics and ripe for picking less than a year later

    That explains it.

Cus he wasn't really bothered about beating Khan in their last fight, it was just a Khan showcase really, and you aren't giving Khan enough credit as an amateur, he was excellent

Whats changed so dramatically then since him turning pro? Most people are saying he has no ring IQ whatsoever

his speed and accuracy made up for it in 3 rounders, in 12 rounds pro fights when someone gets inside on him, then that when his lack of ring IQ shows

he was paid for that fight as an amatuer and retired stright after it was set up for him to lose imo

Khan was a great amateur but his skills went off the table after the kotelnik fight, past his prime at a young age, and even in the olympyics kindelan schooled khan quite easily, arugably the most talented boxer ever i doubt there'd be mayweather on top today if kindelan was a pro, the last fight kindelan was paid off i think it was in the daily mirror the day after

Kindelan beat Kotelnyk - am pretty sure, also beat trinidad, cotto.

Kindelan was year older, slightly slower, and khan was slightly better, he was an world class amateur (khan), good fight but Kindelan was on the decline (not shot, just started passing his prime)

Khan is hard to beat in a 4 2 minute round fight.

The problem comes after the early rounds and his opponents start to get the timing down for his speed and style.

I agree with this.Khan was a teenager in the Olympics, and was a terrific amateur.Has also been an excellent pro, although I think he's a bit past it now, even at his young age,and only wants a Money fight{in more ways than one}to cap off his career. But its certainly one fight where I wouldn't write off a bit of,lets say, negotiation.
