I always thought this fight was a work.

 

Khan was a great amateur, he was in an olympic final at 17 and his run in those games was impressive, but...
There is nothing impressive about his win over Kindelan, Mario was retired for nearly a year and was 34 years old, 34 years old in Cuban boxing means a lot since those guys fights almost every week since they are kids, Kindelan comes from retirement after a year layoff and fights ONCE before Khan, then the fight is labelled as "Would Khan, the future cash cow in boxing who's only 17, beat the double olympic champion that has been retired for one year and is here only for the money and has nothing to prove?".
The fight itself showed Kindelan going all easy and even that way, he put shots on Khan that weren't scored; I'm not saying that Kindelan threw the fight, but he didn't care about winning at all, he was there to promote Khan.
