It reminded me a lot of Dawson vs Jesus Ruiz. I think Lara's belt vs Canelo was even bigger though than Dawson's was that night.

 

I think the waist band on them was much taller than normal which is why they were probably 2 inches higher or so than they should have been.

 

how did canelo get away with punching below the belt.

 

It was hilarious, from rd1 Lara was working the ref to get beltline calls.

 

lol i know that made it even more ridiculous! The fact that he kept tapping his ridiculously huge and high belt acting like like Canelo needed to stop with the low blows. It was absurd!!
