I seen it, Dude looks strong as ****!
He got tagged a couple times, Perry was a pit bull.

Could use some improvement's, but overall strong prospect.
    (Might need an express soon)

He looked alright, and it's a good building block fight for him. Showed up in great condition as usual, and that was a big plus for him. I liked his body work breaking Perry down (a couple shots were low and uncalled, but by and large it was clean, brutal, effective body work). It took him awhile to start really landing cleanly on Perry, and he was smart enough to work the body to open up his offense. That was a smart move.

Perry was no bum and surprised me with how good he looked in the early parts of the fight. I don't think he won more than a round, but he landed some good shots on Kayode and showed some good defense and a solid cheen before Kayode's body shots wore him down.

All in all, I'd rate it a solid B performance. Lateef got hit more than I was expecting, but again, it must be emphasized that Perry was no bum and came to fight. Good fight for him at this stage in his career, but Kayode'll have to tighten that defense up going forward with the punchers in Cruiserweight. His chin didn't show any weakness or anything, but you don't want to take big hooks from Lebedev like the ones Perry landed a few times.

saw some highlights form his other fights. yea he's flawed as hell and needs alot of work, but he's just one of those guys thats fun as hell to watch and fights with bad intentions. not so sure if he'll become a real player at cruiser, but judging from spectators he hasn't been in a lackluster fight so far!

According to the "Play by Play" the plan is to ultimately campaign Kayode @ HW.
(Once he establishes himself more that is...)

    He looked great.

I got the feeling that at any time he could've opened up and KO'd Perry whenever he wanted.

what i like about him is that he throws in conbo's all his punches carry good power, and a very strong quick jab which he throws in sets

Indeed! I read that and it left me wondering why do they always talk that kind of ****. The guy is obviously just getting started, let him win a belt first, let him fight the best CW then see where is at. He can do the weight easily from what I read so that's fine.

Chris Byrd should (and could) have been a CW his whole career and he would have done well I believe. I prefer to watch in-shape CW than fat-ass HW!!

He looks a little,,,,dont know the right word for it but robotic comes to mind. he isnt a loose fighter. I think his defense is a little shaky as well.

Not sold on him as a top looking guy.

true, but the guys relentless pressure, combination punching, and thudding punches can give anyone a hard time though. and with someone like roach in his corner he can definitely improve.

I got the impression that they mean that they would ultimately move him to hw in a few years once he moves up and fights (maybe becomes a champ) at cw championship level.

I think what impresses me the most about him, besides the power, is his demeanor: he stays pretty calm so doesn't waste a lot of nervous energy...he needs to make sure to keep his right straight...every once in a while, he wings it and leaves himself wide open.
