i thought he looked ok. he's not shot he's just slowed everything down. khan is chinless and weak, barrera will finish him with a body shot alone.

 

To be fair, if Barrera even lands the punches he landed on that fighter he can put Khan to sleep.

It's kinda' strange knowing there are awful journeymen out there that can take a better shot than Khan, but it's true. Barrera would stop Khan even with this limited offence.

The question is, can he hit him? Khan is bigger, faster and stronger than anyone Barrera has faced for a while. He's a massive LW, and although Barrera is used to taking punches from the likes of Pacman (faster, harder hitter than Khan) and Morales (in his prime a demon puncher) and tamed the legendary puncher Naseem Hamed, Barrera is not the same Barrera anymore.

I stand by my original prediction.

 

Could have lol, what sort of comment is that. He was miles behind on all the judges. That comment could be applied to every boxer who "couldve" won a fight.

Anyway, he looks fine, what do you expect for a no money, no hope fight. Guarantee he'll be in better shape come March 14. If he makes it that is with his cut.

It would be wrong on so many levels if Barrera were to become the 1st Mexican fighter to win a title in 4 different divisions, especially after Morales doing enough to beat Diaz & being denied that honour.

 

You're a good poster, Butcher, but get that head of yours out of Morales' ass already. It would not be "wrong" if Barrera won a 4th divisional title outright, it would be a great achievement that I hope both you and Morales would be able to appreciate, considering Erik couldn't do it.

 

He sure was fat, though.

It would be wrong for ME, I havent liked Barrera for yrs & Morales is my favourite fighter & I felt he beat Diaz, its my opinion, Im being honest & Im only saying if MAB won a LWT title I would be disgusted but there`s not a thing I can do about it other than hope he fails.

Ps. For a Barrera fan, you are always fair to Morales, I find it hard doing likewise, Im afraid you`ll just have to put up with my anti-Barrera views because I dont see a sudden change of heart anytime soon.

Ps. I think I find it easy to be fair to Morales because I know without him, Barrera would be just another Mexican fighter.

 

Morales & Barrera - even tho they hate each other - share the privelage of taking part in the best fight ever..... campeon v campeon, 2000.

I just watched the fight and although MAB clearly isn't the fighter he once was, he hardly was as bad as some of you are making him out to be. I'm sure his training will elevate for the Khan fight and he'll be able to put his punches together better.
