How did Marvelous Marvin Hagler improve from his first 2 losses into his MW reign

    As we all know Marvelous had 2 early losses in his career to Bobby Watts and Willie Monroe, but to anyone who has seen these fights, where did Marvin improve from those fights to the fight with Duran, Tommy, Mugabi and the controversial "loss" to Ray

    Id argue those losses were flukes. Hagler was robbed vs watts and was sick vs monroe.
    He just improved and was arguably prime when he fought Sibson.
    When he fought Leonard the wars with Hearns and Mugabi took something out of him.
    Otherwise Leonsrd would not hsve fought him.

    All his losses were close fights, even Leonard waited for him to age out and it was a close fight
