Prepared-Experienced Veterans get beat by faster opponents with bigger Reach. Giving up both is too much

    Canelo vs GGG
    Reach: Equal
    Height: GGG
    Speed: Canelo

Now that's one way to twist it. Rather than giving Alvarez credit for taking the major risk against Mayweather, just call it a "cash out". I guess taking risks is unfathomable to any Golovkin fan and it's very obvious why. We will never know Golovkin's true potential because of Golovkin and only because of him. Don't blame others for Golovkin's failures. Alvarez took his share of risks, which is why he is popular now. He earned his spot. Golovkin did nothing but beg for paydays while devouring hopeless bums.

Because golovkin is a stiff, slow Eurobot. Overrated a lot like Kovalev was and Usyk is now

Canelo had little say over his career early on, back then JCC Sr. & the boxing GODs were all focused on JCC Jr., Canelo was about to get cashed out vs JCC Jr (they thought JCC Jr. will be the Welterweight champion & the future G.O.A.T.).

JCC Jr. grew out of Welter, letting down his father & Godfather. Canelo career turned out just great & yes team Canelo took more risks than team GGG, it paid off...With the Callum Smith challenge its becoming more clear that Canelo is willing to take much more risks

The fight went how it was expected- Floyd was a -300 favorite in that fight.

The entire reason it was made is as you said....the timing was perfect and it would age great. That's because plenty of knucklehead fans lack perspective and would exaggerate a very good win into a historic one.
