How did Mayweather throw more punches than Pacquiao?

    Exactly it was an easier fight than a lot of his fights. Zab maidana cotto and of course jlc all gave h&m a harder fight.

    You're missing the point, the question goes to how accurate punch stats are.

    Landed punches per round are much more debatable than thrown punches. Thrown punches are obviously easier to see than to decide what lands. So if the "thrown punches" are inaccurate, then that's REALLY cause for alarm even more so than landed punches which are debatable.

    Tied him up a lot, always stayed away from Pac's range.

    I think its fair. I found it absolutely idiotic for Manny and Roach for having absolutely no game plan at all for Mayweathers Jab. It was obviously going to be a factor. The basic rule of boxing is simple, if he connect your gloves (power shots or harmless jabs) more compared to your opponent, you get more points. Simple.
