Its pretty normal for a megafight like K. Pavlik v. P. Williams to reward each fighter with about $1.5 Mil. But how in the world can Oscar and Floyd manage to rig up multi-million dollar fights? Anyone know the numbers these guys got for their mega-fights?
PPV revenue. Really doesn't get any simpler than that. 2.1 millions buys at $60 a piece equals $126 million. Combine that with probably about another $10 million in ticket sales and a few million in site fee from the casino. It's simple math.
In addition to that, there is also sponsors who pay to have their image painted on the canvas or gloves, ring, shoes , trunks used. Other sponsors make other dollars from various advertisement deals.
