Since when is 168 a catchweight, genius?

Why not include Andrade and the Charlo brothers along with Lara at a catchweight of 154?

Nice try, but GGG was comfortably ahead on the official scorecards and most all of the unofficial scorecards at the time of the stoppage.

Ouma didn't take that many big punches until later in the fight. The main reason he was able to go 10 rounds is that Golovkin smothered himself in the middle rounds and didn't let his hands go enough. The thing is, Golovkin didn't have much trouble landing on Ouma at mid-range. So if you're going to get right in Ouma's chest, you have to throw a lot of punches because Ouma was a very busy fighter and very good inside. Golovkin didn't fight his usual style in that fight. He also didn't seem as sharp as usual physically, possibly due to sleep deprivation or whatever.

Notice GGG wasn't even shaven for this fight? When was the last time you saw GGG unshaven like that?

Him stuck at the airport with visa issues and not sleeping much prior to the fight seems pretty credible. It's the only time where I see him lacking concentration and throwing such wide punches.

I dont think direll would beat him, andre doesnt look much different from that amatuer fight they had which is interesting because i thought it was really close coin toss type fight but watching it i feel ggg would get the better now some of them big shots he landed would knock him out without the head gear, plus the overall more suited style to pro as well as extra rounds surely ggg would get hi with somehting, plus ggg looks better now too

Well I know 168 is traditional weight class, however I think it is an appropriate weight class for a potential Golovkin vs Hopkins fight.

You sound very annoyed by my post. What, you don't wanna see Hop fight Golovkin.

You need to chill the fock down punto.

Well Golovkin was the up and coming fighter with a big promotion behind him so I'm not surprised he was getting close rounds. Thats what usually happens when a past his prime washed up fighter is fighting a prospect with backing from high places. However a neutral fan knows Ouma was leading the card.

That's what it looked like to me, he seemed lethargic and lacking concentration. Again, Golovkin had no problem landing on Ouma at mid-range, even with the southpaw angle. I don't know why he would close that distance and then not throw punches. From that distance, Golovkin should have initiated more. It's as if he wanted to counter Ouma and take him out with one shot from in close.

If you're going to start a thread about a fella taking GGG's power, at least base it on Curtis Stevens. A man who a healthy and determined GGG wanted to seriously punish.

Curtis fought at a higher weight, and he was dropped and stopped without winning a round clearly.

Ouma was a former JMW, and some people had him up beyond halfway.

Golovkin told Abel he couldn't feel his arms between the 3rd & 4th rounds. OBVIOUSLY most of his power was missing, unfortunately for Ouma.

Stevens was in a shell for most of the fight and barely got out of the 2nd round. I think Golovkin wanted to punish him more than to take him out quickly.

Just about any big puncher in history had fights that went into the later rounds even in their prime. Julian Jackson, Hagler, Hearns, all these guys had fights that went 10 and 12 rounds.

Golovkin fans are sounding like Alan Greene and Shanoon Briggs with these lame excuses. Oh his girlfriend broke up with him. oh his house got robbed the day before the fight. oh it was too cold in the locker room so Golovkin didn't get enough time to warm up.

just like most of the crap you post

any ways, yeah ouma looked very slick in there and makes me question if ggg ever fought a southpaw before that fight.
