I too was troubled by the two scorecards that had Manny at 120. I specifically logged on to get other "expert" takes on the situation. The disparity of opinions here didn't clear everything up so I googled several boxing sites and found the following. Still clear as mud.

"The 10-point "must" system dictates that the winner of a round must receive 10 points. In your scenario, boxer A would probably receive a 10-8 round, unless the attack of boxer B was so dramatic that the judge ruled that Boxer B had effectively mitigated the extra advantage of the knockdown. In that case, the round would probably be scored 10-9, still in favor of boxer A.
The margin between the 10 points the winner of the round receives, and the points the loser of the round receives, (9 or less) is intended to reflect the closeness of the round.
In a nutshell, it's pretty much unheard of for a boxer who scores a knockdown to not ultimately win the round, absent that same boxer being dropped himself or herself."

I read the rest of the posts. Do you know what a joke Boxing would be if judges started taking it into their own hands to overrule referees? "Oh that was a KD!" "Oh that wasn't a KD!" "Oh that was a slip not a KD!" It would totally subvert the authority of the ref.

You are as much of a clown for even making the statement as the judges were for not properly scoring the KD. :deal

Judges was on the ringside watching the fight you moron. Mosley did not even throw a punch, it was a push. What? Judges simply close their eyes and has no power to invalidate a bull**** call.

"The judge has in its power to look into the call" - Kevin Iole is a clown by your standard genius.

It was a push not a ****ing KD you sorry slob.

    stop being a ****ing twat!

IOLE SAID ''its in the judges right to say ok even though the fighter got knocked down, he still won the round''

HE MEANS even though pac was knocked down, he won the round. meaning its NOT a 10-8 round! its a 10-9 round! listen to the flipping interview and try understand what the man is saying

It the fall was after being punched then without question the round goes to Mosley.

But a punch was never thrown. Mosley clinched, step on Pacman's foot, and pushed him away.

It really doesnt matter, they probably still scored the round were Mosley got credit for the knockdown as 10-10. I gaved Mosley only one round, but the end of the night it was total domination by one guy and the other one should consider retirement.

Who gives a damn what the judge is watching! There is a protocol between the two of them! The ref calls KDs, headbutts, deductions, etc... the judge reflects it in the score cards. Period.

What is next? Should a judge who doesn't feel it was say, excessive holding not deduct points if the ref signals for deduction? Or if he feels a slip was a KD should he just score it so?

And Kevin Iole is a clown. The judge can look into the call and still score the round for the Boxer, but last time I checked Boxing doesn't have Instant Replay. So when in the hell does the judge have time to "look into it"? The best the judge can do is score the round for the KedD fighter regardless to nullify the KD.

And Judah's KD of Mayweather was a legit KD and rulled a slip. Should the jugdes have scored that a KD? You are a moron!
