i kinda understand his fans i mean, you have your country man hero, the peoples champ, the best fighter in the world, he beats everybody with ease, does charity work, gives to the community, humble, 8 division champ more than anybody Sounds like a fairytale right? like it was a perfect movie script well, reality is that a normal man cannot jump 4 or 5 weight classes that quickly and keep his speed intact and his power too! Normally in 99% of the cases, guys 2 or 3 divisions higher than you can take a better punch example: darchinyan vs mares or adbeko / tito vs hopkins or roy jones but the most unbelievable thing is pac's chin, he went from being ko'ed by nobodies, dropped by a jab, rocked by featherweights like morales and marquez and now he eats punches from hatton, cotto, clottey and margo to the chin like it was nothing! wtf? imagine yourself being a die hard fan of mark maguire or barry bonds, they were amazing! broke all homerun records but what happened next? proof came that a normal baseball player cannot get sooo many homeruns and marion jones broke records too peds are a part of sports and with science advancing, you will see more and more cases, sad but true
after the diaz fight: lampley: are you p4p 1 in the world? pac: thank you I would like tot thank god and all the people.who love boxing:rofl
I honestly believe its because he drained himself all these years, he always weighed around 145 on fight night, it seems that light welter is his natural weight division, he just drained himself all these fighs to make weight, since he now dont need to cut it, its easier to be stronger and have a better chin, pac is slower then before he is just still fast.
Pac was a malnourished kid when he suffered those KO losses and has since then grown into his body.. Pac has always had a real good chin and Ariza has Pac's body in top shape now..
BG, I've been posting this video for months now and its for the simple fact that it paints Pacquiao's stance on the matter perfectly. Its not second hand matter of he said she said.....its coming straight from the sources mouth, and the reason that I continue to post it besides being a bazooka to kill a ******* point......I have found that there are still plenty of people like yourself that have still not clicked onto the link to watch the video. ......I still get alot of PM's from members here stating, "wow, I had never seen that before." ......and as long as I continue to get feedback like that of people that did'nt know that came out of the horses mouth, then I'll continue to post that video that is a mountain of evidence against Manny Pacquiao's stance on PED testing.
I agree with Manny that he shouldn't have a test on the day of the fight. Makes no sene. He should have 1 random test 14 days in before the day of the test. Just 1. Can we all agree on that?
what's the big deal. He says the testing makes him weak, so he doesn't want it right before the fight. Then he's asked if he's ok with it 14 days before the fight, and he says no because he's in heavy training. seems pretty consistent. If it makes you weak before the fight, then it makes you weak when you're in heavy training. At first he says not before the fight, then he says not 14 days before, because he's in heavy training, then he says not before the fight. Why would Pac want to feel weak when he's in heavy training.
Pacquiao does'nt seem rattled here in this video, in fact he's cool as a cucumber and speaking english just fine now that questions on PED's are not being thrown at him......... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16hNUWSX9cQ&feature=player_embedded[/ame]
random testing untill 14 days before, 1 random in between and 1 right after the fight. Seems fair to me.
Science supports Pac's concerns! This content is protected This is for those who say giving blood for tests does not affect athletic performance. Blood tests for drug use involve collecting about 10-20 cc of blood (1-2 vials). 4 of these drug tests will equal 50-100 cc, or about 10% - 20% of a pint of blood given in donations (450cc). 1. How do periodic reductions in hemoglobin affect an athlete's ability to train? From: This content is protected Blood is a complicated tissue with many different roles. When you donate blood, you give up a pint of fluid containing mostly water along with various proteins and cells in solution. During high-intensity endurance activities however, it is hemoglobin, found within our red blood cells, that is most important. Hemoglobin delivers oxygen to our tissues, and when we exercise our muscles require increased amounts of oxygen. If we lack sufficient hemoglobin, anaerobic, or without oxygen, metabolism will ensue (producing lactic acid) at even seemingly moderate levels of intensity. This content is protected This content is protected , (which is why you may not donate more often than every two months). What then are the lasting effects of this red blood cell loss? Assuming that your cardiac output (the amount of blood pumped by the heart) remains constant, a drop in hemoglobin concentration associated with donating blood will reduce your oxygen delivery to working muscles by 10 percent. Still, when you are at rest, or even during moderate levels of exercise, oxygen delivery, even at this decreased capacity, far outpaces demand. However, once you reach a heart rate that is around 5 to 10 percent below your usual anaerobic threshold, your body's demand for oxygen will outpace its supply. For example, if your metabolism typically becomes anaerobic at a heart rate of 170, then after donating blood you will become anaerobic at a heart rate of between 157 and 164 beats per minute. This value will fluctuate because your hemoglobin level will be rising slowly each day, thus the most significant effect will be felt in the first few days after donating. 2. Donating Blood - What Active People Need to Know He notes that many variables make it difficult to predict how much or how long donating a pint of blood will affect athletic performance. However, he notes that recovery after blood donation is fairly fast. Eichner writes: "In my anecdotal experience, This content is protected ." 20% of 4 weeks is roughly 6 days. 6 days of not feeling 100% during training? Very compromising.
Yeah, cool as a cucumber speaking English. :yep [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQqUurJvcGY[/ame]
