I just re-watched the 2nd fight and I cannot find a way in which Canelo could have got the decision, even when being very favourable to him during the close rounds. I watched the fight 4 times now and the best case scenario for Canelo fans is 115-113 for GGG, while I had it 117-111 for Golovkin.

Were people under the illusion that becasue Alvarez came forward he won the fight? Is it because Golovkin has been on the front foot in all his previous fights and Alvarez coming forward made some people think he deserved his hand raised? Golovkin blocked most of the punches and landed more than Canelo and the best shots of the fight all belonged to GGG. It seems everyone is giving credit to Canelo for fighting on the front foot but nobody is giving GGG credit for putting in such an incredible performance on the back foot at his age, given the style people associate with him.

I just don't see it, I see so many people giving Alvarez credit, ranking him p4p number 1, forgetting he should have at least 4-5 defeats on his record. Yet people trash on GGG saying he doesn't deserve to be ranked in the ATG lists. Both fights should have went to GGG and if the corrupt judges officially scored it for GGG then he'd be 42-0 and everyone would be fawning over how incredible Golovkin is and, should be ranked in the upper echelons of boxing lists.

Don't matter. Canelo still won. Let it go and move on, for your family's sake at least.

Actually you can see here in the polls that people actually think GGG was the winner from both fights.

It’s hard to let injustice slide as I’m still sour about Marvin Hagler getting the screw job from the Sugar fight

The polls also said Hillary would beat Trump in a land slide.

Polls are worthless, especially on this site.

The best way to have this wrong doing brought to justice, is if GGG actually loses this time and the decision goes to GGG.Then put GGG on the top of the pfp list, get fighter of the Year, get his DAZN contract extended, have GGG on the cover of all the boxing magazines, even though by public perception he lost big. Then when someone opens a thread about it tell them, Canelo lost ,he got his a$$ kicked, let it go, move on , deal with it. Lmao!

One more thing, no reason to fight again. Canelo doesn't any longer present a challenge to me.

No reason to bring gayness to this conversation is there? Let's just stick to boxing.

I can appreciate that. Just injected more humor into your comical post.

But I agree with you. Boxing should be the main topic.

With that said, GGG was supposed to KO Canelo twice. Now Canelo is fully acclimated to MW, is in his absolute prime, and damaged GGG a bit more in their last fight.

No way GGG wins, unless he lands a miracle hail mary shot.

Personally, I watched the fight, and saw canelo put a beating on ggg. Now you can claim ggg’s jab picked up enough points, which I disagree with, but there’s no doubt he picked up that beating.

Ok I forgive you. Canelo is in his prime, as you know I hope GGG gets it, it's good to speculate, there's a long way to go before it's going to be safe enough to have big fights. Its scary times.
