Nah, he lost clear, but he looked determined.

    Robbed?
He looked decent,I don't know if he actually did better than the first time but he was more motivated.

He THOUGHT he won for some reason. What reason I dont know. Landing more then 3 punches this time perhaps?

Overall in compubox numbers he was actually worse then the first fight, but yeah he looked more determined.

That's because that idiot McGirt told him he was winning whenever he asked him.
The figth was clear win for Dawson.

i mean, he looked good....well uhhh, good for Tarver

but, no he clearly lost, the only rounds he won were the rounds Dawson gave him as a present with a pretty pink bow attached

Tarver looked way slower than years past. He picked it up sporadically but was never able to sustain any type of consistent strategy. I don't understand how he felt that he was ahead. Buddy McGirt should have told him that he was way behind and needed a knockout.

Tarver looked good in splurts, but the other times looked sluggish, passive, and uncordinated, just like in the fights with Woods, Santiago, Meriqui, Hopkins, Jones III, Johnson II, Johnson I, Jones I, and Harding I and much of Harding II.

Jones II and the Montell Griffin fight being the exceptions.

I know Tarver fought at notch below the best Tarver he can be. Tarver was always slow of foot. He is a stalker puncher. You never seen Tarver dance around a ring and let off blistering combos.:rofl

He did way better than in the first fight. Scorecards were way too wide but no roberry. He started too late.

Tarver was defo way slower than I have ever seen him (Hand Speed wise)
But Chad Dawson punches were being blocked & slipped for the most part.

Forget about the age factor, No excuses.
But Dawson should have took out Tarver & he couldn't/can't.

A very average fighter in a **** division where Older fighters go to retire.
    (No Country for Old Men)

No way he can make 168lbs, forget about that option people..
Calzaghe would school the 26 yr old Dawson with ease...
B-Hop would school the 26 yr old Dawson with ease...
Glen Johnson would K.O. the 26 yr old Dawson...
Dare I say, Roy Jones Jr.?
