I wonder if people are taking jabs at Price's chin just because of the fact he hails from the U.K.? Are people here really that short sighted?

Price got "knocked out" in the second fight based off of his stamina alone.

His chin wasn't the issue in question in the second fight. He and Thompson had regular exchanges in the fight, and he seemed to take his shots well.

David Price need to get his stamina in order if he is to find success in this sport. There is no excuse for a world class fighter to be gassing out in only the fifth round.

The opposite could also be said as true. :yep

Wilder's chin is far below Price's.

I have yet to see Wilder fight somebody who will actually hit him back. :bart

Tony Thompson is the smartest and most experienced HW boxer at the moment. He did enough to win against a very quick and slick, ex-Olympic champion. No one actually believed he could do it, just as before both fights against Price. You say he has no power. In this fight - yes. But his master plan was like that and he did great following it. No power ... hmm ... with those long arms he hits like a MF when he steps behind his punches.

    Some power? :blood

You might want to look at hos record, and his only common opponent with Wilder.

I think I was right when I said the only reason people constantly berate his is because of his norther European ancestry. :verysad

I think the only blow of any significance that Firtha was able to land was the jab after the opening bell.

After that it was Wilder unleashing power blow after power blow on a defenseless Firtha.

I'm pretty sure I remember featherfisted Kelvin Price landing a right hand that had Wilder wincing right before he was KTFO.

I don't think Prices chin is as bad as everyone says, first fight with thompson he got a perforated ear drum so glass ear maybe and second fight he took some heavy punches and didn't go down, just seemed like a lack of heart how he seemed to quit and not throw back.

Not the point of the thread but wilder was knocked off balance by a firtha jab. He was not hurt and he most certainly was not on "***** street". His chin may indeed be proven to be **** but you guys are ridiculous

Thompson hits harder than some credit for, but Price also has a pretty weak chin.... Price had the rematch in the bag but his poor conditioning cost him a win. With that being said Price deserves a lot of credit for stepping up and facing Thompson, thats something Wilder would never do.
