    Unless maybe... Just maybe... Wilders punching power has been wildly overhyped?

    I mean, it's not as if he's been knocking out talented fighters with iron chins for the most part (or even at all), is it?

    Have you seen Foreman hit the canvas face first against Lyle and get up as if he was just taking a nap? Mentioned Ron's punches didn't hurt, but made you blackout for a moment. Metal stuff.

    Fury has never had great power, especially for his size.
    With the Kronk training it became better, but never huge or say anything like a Wilder.

    What is being discussed here is recuperative power, which is not in question.
    What is unknown is how many boxers might not have ever been floored absorbing the same shots from Wilder.
    IMO very few.

    I actually think it does happen in MMA. I seem to recall Ben Askren got slammed by someone in UFC, was out cold, then when the other guy began ground-and-pounding he seemed to come to. Charles Martin seemed to be KO'ed standing up against Luis Ortiz then only began defending himself again after he was hit again
