Don't get me wrong, some of the youth facilities are worse than the adult ones, although I have no idea about Indiana... But Tyson was 24 or 25 already, he was not a first time offender, and he was a fully grown former HW champion... Also, how did Tyson do his time? Was he getting tried on the yard by the other inmates? I heard he got all kinds of special privileges from the guards like El Chapo
I believe one of his special privileges extended to having sex with one of the female guards on a regular basis.
I'm not sure what you are talking about. If you are talking about the Desiree Washington ****, Mike went to the Plainfield Correctional Facility which is an Indiana prison for men.
Tried on in the yard? Most boxers as known as Tyson would be treated like God's by the prison population. Similarly mob guys love fighters beyond business relationships take Marciano. The strong have that way with people who value it.
There is a movie called "Undisputed" which was supposedly based on Tyson's prison stay. Ving Rhames character the iceman was hostile and aggressive with everybody and was beating the **** out of all the gang members. Tyson said he wasn't like that. He only had 3 years and he did not want no trouble. He only got into one fight where one guy was talking trash he just KOd him with one punch and walked away
Mike Tyson was undoubtedly the baddest man in the largest medium-security prison in all of Indiana. And every zoo has a smartest ******, every circus has a tallest midget, etc. As for the confusion, Plainfield was established as a youth facility in 1964 and somewhere along the way converted to a medium security prison for male adults. It’s focus is, per the website, is on substance abuse treatment, mental health and educational opportunities. I’m sure it’s not summer camp, but let’s not act like Mike was locked up in Alcatraz.
