yeah it's a 10 point must so if you think cotto deserved the round anyway, it's 10-10, if you think it was a draw, it's 10-9 manny, if you think manny took it, it's 10-8. that's my understanding anyway

I thought round 4 was a clear-cut 10-8, Cotto wasn't nearly as effective as in the round before and moreover the kd was way more severe i thought. The first it looked balance had something to do with it as well.

It was 10-8 for Pac. Pac won the round even without the KD.

What point of "10 point must system" is confusing people here? Unless there is a point deduction one fighter MUST get 10 points.

Ha ha yep, Lampley got a lot of people confused now.

When I heard him say it the first time, I thought he must have forgot or something. Then he repeats it about two more times and I thought no.

This thread is going on way too long. If you think Cotto won the round it is 10-9 for Pac. If you think Pac won the round it is 10-8 for Pac. There is no 9-9 and there is no 10-10

Two judges scored the round 10-9 Pacquiao, meaning they thought that Cotto actually won Round 3. That is the proper way to score a single KD round (with no other deductions) when the fighter scoring the KD actually loses the round.
