I don't know how anyone could answer disbelief, though I see that's the majority. On their elite level these things happen. More of a 'welp'
Disbelief. Then i realized it was Manny's arrogance and cokiness that cost him the defeat. Marquez fully deserved the win, even though he was on the verge of being stopped himself. He capitalized on a foolishly amateur error.
Shock and confusion, from the angle it was being broadcast I couldn't see the punch land and just witnessed pac falling face first into the canvas. I genuinely thought he'd been shot at first.
I felt relieved for Juan for having finally got his strategy right to get the win. A strategy I was saying he needed since fight three, go for nothing but KO. it was obvious by then he was never going to get justice on the cards, and that he had the tools to fully exploit the chances Pac likes to take. It was all a no brainer on what JMM needed to do and he did, kudos to him for having done it.
Haven't argued this since last year but.. Pacquiao ran into that punch a lot of times against Juan. This content is protected
It felt great. I started hitting the liquor heavily during round 5, Marquez looked like he was almost ready to go. Round 6 Marquez looks better but I'm still nervous, I remember getting up for a trip to the restroom then suddenly Pac is on the floor. I didn't catch the punch too well, my first thought was that Pac had slipped and hit the floor or something, but I see the ref counting, Roy screaming "he's not gettin up Jim!" I'm confused, I see the ref wave it off, Marquez jumps on the ropes, I cheer loudly and starting cursing at the TV in celebration. I watch until Manny gets up and they show the slow mo replay. I then go take a p1ss, probably missed the toilet with 50% of my p1ss because I'm still celebrating, don't give a fawk. It was a good night.
