How did you score Ali vs Doug Jones, Young, Norton 1-3, Shavers

I thought the first 2 Ali/Norton fights were draws and the third was Ali 8-7

Can't recall all exact scores but -

I had Ali defeating Jones 6-4 or 5-4-1
I had him losing the first and third fight to Norton. But the third fight only by a point- so not a robbery.
I felt he edged Shavers.
Young I had defeating Ali by 2 rounds. The biggest robbery of the bunch.

 

I am rereading the Muhammad Ali book by Thomas Hauser, and started thinking about watching/scoring all of his fights, would be quite the task.

I've seen all these but can't say I've scored them. I know from memory I thought he beat Shavers, but I think I had Norton getting robbed in the first fight, at least.

Obviously not fresh on my mind, maybe I'll jump back in here if I take on that task.

 

I saw all these bouts live aside from the Jones fight.

jones. Ali by one round
Norton 1. Norton 7-5
Norton 2. Ali 7-5
Norton 3. Ali 8-7
Young. Ali 8-6-1
Shavers. Ali 9-6.

 

Ali - Young too boring to sit through.
Clay decisioned Jones
Norton won the first and third and deserved a draw in the second
Ali squeezed by Shavers but fight ruined him.

 

Ali beat Jones because of his movement.

Ali beat Young because he manhandled him.

Ali beat Shavers.

Norton was the only guy that Ali couldn't dominate. Even so 2/3 for Ali.

 

Ali 6, Jones 4. I have scored it twice and like this score.
Ali - Norton 1 Norton 8, Ali 4
Ali vs Norton 3. Norton 9, Ali 6. A robbery! No way Ali won this one.

Have not scored the others recently.
