I don't recall my exact score. It was close and I'm sure the point duduction and no crdit for the knock down played a role in my scoreing. I probbly had either wining by a point Maruez posibily by two or even a draw.
Bottom line is that the fight was closer than the official scores were.

Bull****. The reasons the judges had it wide was because they were corrupt. Let me remind you of the other fights on the bill that night. Forbes vs Hopkins and De Leon vs Penalosa. Both fights were scored insanely. Something was seriously up that night, the judging was all unfair, wrong, and clearly predetermined.

That said, as the biggest Barrera fan on ESB (arguably), I felt Marquez won the fight by at least a 2 point margin. Barrera wasn't the Barrera of old in that fight, and was never to be again.

Bull**** my ass. Let me ask you something... who the hell would fix the fight for Marquez knowing that Barrera is cleary the bigger draw? The bigger draw who HBO was all over that night with their biased commentary.

I'm also a big Barrera fan and I saw the immediate scorecards of quite a few other big Barrera fans around here who had Marquez winning the fight by at least a 4 point margin. If you had it for Marquez by only two points when he was out-scoring Barrera with power punches in nearly every single round then you need to learn how to score a fight... or learn to put the TV on mute when trying to accurately score a fight. Like I said, the nut slobbering HBO was doing for Barrera that night affected a lot of scorecards from TV viewers... and you're one of them!

i believe they were corrupt aswell if you think of it barrera was ready to retire so you wernt gonna get much more money from him were marquez was still keen but if he lost his career would of been over and as youve seen since that fight hes had brilliant ones for boxing shame on barrera but some good fights for boxing

I think I had it for Marquez by three or four. If the Knockdown had been counted, the round would have been 8-8 rather than 10-8 Marquez, so it was a tight fight.

Doug Tucker is the worst judge ever he had TOS beating Wlad when it was stopped and gave EVERY round to Navarro agianst Mijares when he actually lost atleast 10. Anyway I gave it 1 point to Barrera but I suppose im slightly biased. When I get back home from doing somethings ill score it agian and repost it round by round.

I had it a clear win for Marquez.

The first few rounds I scored for MAB but the middle rounds, until the end of the fight, I had mostly for JMM.

The KD non-call was a crucial one I guess. Could have been a momentum breaker in favor of MAB, but the stupid referee, as usual, blew it off.
