BHop Zaggers 1. 10 - 8 2. 10 - 9 3. 9 - 10 4. 9 - 10 5. 9 - 10 6. 9 - 10 7. 10 - 9 8. 9 - 10 9. 9 - 10 10. 9 - 10 11. 10 - 9 12. 9 - 10 115-112 Calzaghe, some close rounds but a clear win for Joe. Joe made Hopkins fight his fight, he took BHop out of his comfort zone and made flurry and trade, where Joe was able to rack up points. Joe used his jab and set the pace, and Hopkins tactic of throwing single shots and falling into Calzaghe wasn't enough. Hopkins respected Calzaghe's handspeed, and wasn't able to keep Joe off him. Calzaghe SD12 Hopkins u mad? :deal
I had it to Joe by a single point. I have absolutely no problem with a close card either way or a draw. I've long since realised that this is a fight with many close rounds that can justifiably be scored either way and that it's going to come down to individual taste and eye. Anyone telling anyone else their close (ish) card is **** is being unreasonable. I wanted Hopkins to win very badly.
Hopkins won 1,2 or 3 rounds of the first half... theereafter none. If I am being REALLY nice to Bernard I could give him max 3 rounds. But that is being overly generous.
Calzaghe's main claim to greatness is that he could throw a few more punches and had slightly better stamina and workrate than a 43-year-old.
Why because Hopkins told you that.. atsch Hopkins got beat fair and square what a ugly fighter claimed a low blow when he couldnt handle the heat.. Coward..
