I saw a few people here saying the fight was controversial and that a motivated Jacobs beats Alverez although i had it a close but clear win for Canelo
115-113 Clenbuterol. 116-112 rather than 114-114. Still a competitive and close fight and Jacobs really didn't do much. A motivated Jacobs in his prime would beat the crap out of Clenbuterol. But i can understand him. He wants paydays without any damage. Considering his past i wish him all the best and hope he gets Millions of Dollar fighting in the next couple of years.
Pretty sure I had it 115-113 Canelo, possibly 116-112. I couldn't find my scorecard on here. I may have wrote it down. Canelo definitely won. Jacobs didn't do enough
Closer fight than I thought it would be going in. I think i had it 8-4 or 7-5 Canelo not one of his better performances.
Jacobs looked like a reanimated corpse at the weigh in and the fact Clenelo tried to weaken him and stack a deck that was already heavily stacked in his favour as it is by slapping a rehydration clause on him was pathetic and cowardly in equal measure. He even did the same to Rocky From Stocky Catchweights, rehydration clauses, short camps, jacking himself with PEDs, the judges in his pocket everytime he fights, his long history of receiving gifts and scandalously wide scorecards in his favour from them, the safety net in place of knowing he only has to make it to the finish line to get his hand raised etc. ie. rolling with loaded dice everytime he steps foot into a ring. Meanwhile others are out there slaying giants who are way bigger than them than that literally without doing any of that at all
I had it 7-5 Canelo /6-6. There's definitely case for 7-5 Jacobs. Jacobs only decided to start trying to win (Canelo's "don't try" clause in action, probably) around the mid point of the fight which was strange. Dead boring fight though like most of Canelo's fixed fights post GGG 2. Canelo moves his head in an exaggerated fashion against several of Jacobs jabs in round 4 (not to mention all he was doing was making him miss and not being in position to land) and he's a "defensive wizard". He looks like a stiff idiot most of the time constantly having to reset
