How did you score De La Hoya-Mayweather, unbiased?

But you (like the compubox stat keepers) were obviously influenced by the supposedly scoring shots from Floyd that Oscar constantly deflected off his gloves. Floyd was not very accurate up until the later rounds when Oscar began to gas. Oscar at least pressed the fight and was the more active of the two throughout the first half of the fight. I had him ahead 4-3 after 7 until he gassed per usual.

 

117-111 is a good score? are you serious? this is a crazy score considering how close that fight actually was, and what do you mean meaningless flurries the man worked, its not like Floyd beat this mans ass, Floyd missed an awful lot himself from rounds 3-10 Merchant and Stewart were talking about How Floyd wasnt connecting and that Oscar was doing a great job in deflecting Floyds shots, thats 7 rounds in which they were talking about this.

I am sorry, But 117-111 is biased there is no way anybody should or could have a score like that if they were actually scoring the fight in an un biased manner.

 

Exactly. Some of the descriptions of the fight that I have heard from Floyd huggers would make you think that FLoyd put on some kind of epic performance if you hadn't seen the fight

Forgot how i scored it but I want my money back...that fight was freakin horrible ....de la hoya flurries ..Pbf lands a punch and runs .... repeat the process for twelve horrible rounds of boxing.They fought like they were ready for the retirement home.

 

I had PBF by 2 rounds but I think Oscar could have pulled it off if he didnt abandon the jab

Every time I watch it I score it 117-111 or 116-112.

 

I had it 116-112, but all of the rounds were close. If you had it 115-113, that isn't bad either. Dlh just was not effective in the latter part of the fight. Floyd knew he was in a fight though.

No, not at all. Dlh legally gave Floyd his toughest fight. People bring up the Castillo fight, but Floyd was hit low, and Castillo tried to rough Floyd up...he rarely landed any clean shots. Dlh actually hit Floyd more than he had ever been hit even though the punches were ineffective. The only other person who hit Floyd that much was Emmanuel Augustus.

116-112 PBF.

The rounds PBF lost, he lost due to inactivity. The rounds PBF won, he was picking DLH with crisp, flush shots. DLH might've had a chance had he not faded starting around the 9th and didn't throw the jab but at the end of the day, it is what it is. The guy always has stamina problems and i think PBF knew this and let DLH blow his wad a bit early on. Also, i got the sense that PBF wasn't even really trying. Just coasting along until later in the fight.
