How did you score De La Hoya-Mayweather, unbiased?

I scored it about seven rounds to five for Floyd, but I wouldn't have argued with a draw. I thought it was about even after 8 rounds, and then I had Floyd winning 3 of the last 4.

115-113 or 117-111 is a one-round swing from 8-4 (116-112). Both are acceptable.

117-111 for Floyd is more logical than 115-113 for Oscar

The fight wasnt even that close and it was only close on the scorecards because Mayweather gave DLH the 12th round.

 

It was a close fight and perhaps they should have done a second one. As pissed as people were about it, myself included, it would have made sense to have a more determined ending to this. At least we wouldn't have got Floyd retiring and Hoya fighting Pac.

 

A very good description of the fight. Floyd did coast a lot, and really only got hit with punk punches by Dlh.

 

I scored it a draw but Mayweather deserved the win as he dominated rounds 9,10 and 11 while all the other rounds were much closer.

 

116-112 Floyd, and there really wasn't any legitimate way to score it closer than that.

 

Plenty of people with higher boxing credentials than you did so pull your head out of your ass.

 

The first time , I scored it a draw. I even thought that DH might have edged a decision.

Then I rewatched it, and scored it for Gayweather. He just outboxed him and landed the cleaner shots. You got to look real closely

floyd won easy 117-111 or 116-112 both good scores. Floyd was controlling the rounds DLH was just trying to come on strong in the last 20 seconds and steal them with ineffective flurries. This jab myth is just that a myth because when the fight started oscar wasn't throwing his jab at all just flurrying. Started using in round 2 then abandoned it again until round 7. Even in the rounds he was supposedly using his jab effectively (1-8) there's no way you can give dlh enough of them so that he has a cushion big enough to get him the fight as he split these rounds when he was supposedly using his jab effectively.
