I can remember I had De La Hoya winning, but it wasn't a huge robbery or anything.

Tito won the last two rounds.

You could make a weak case for two more.

So somewhere between 8-4 and 10-2 for Oscar.

    It was a complete schooling.

I don't recall a single instance where Tito landed more than one shot at any one time.

I bet the farm on Tito and before the decision was given out I expected to lose my ass. When the decision was read I was in disbelief as I thought Oscar had beaten tito 115-114 as well.

    They should have the rematch...lol

Oscar landed over 100 more punches than Tito, made Tito look like a fool. Oscar won the fight but Don King's judges were criminal.

:|:| fights r scored with EFFECTIVE punches not tagging somebody... this is not the sport of "touch and run", if that's what you like maybe you should look into another sport

I had it 115-113 for Oscar. I got no complaints if you gave it to Tito either, because Oscar did run and didn't fight the last few rounds.

Had it 8-4 for DLH. A darn robbery that was.

I thought Trini-dud actually won 2 rounds by his own doing and the Oscar gave away the other 2.

See this is the common thing that people say and I disagree with it. if you rewatch the fight you'll notice that the first 2 or 3 rounds are very close. Tito wasn't landing anything but niether was Oscar. Youtube is blocked at work so I can't go on there to get the link but just look at round 1. Tito landed a good left hook to the body and Oscar landed a good right hand up top, those were the only 2 meaningfull shots of the round.

As far as Tito sweeping rounds 9-12 I also disagree. Oscar clearly won the 9th round. You'd have to be Tito's mother and be on Don King's payroll to score that round for him.

All that being said, I thought Oscar won the fight but there were a lot of close rounds and he didn't help himself by running at the end. Oscar was the only one of the 2 fighters that dominated any rounds. There were a few if I remember correctly it was 4-7 where Oscar was dominating and making Tito look stupid and busting him up pretty bad. For Tito to win you would have had to give him all of the close rounds.
