Just watched it back. This was my card; 1) 10-9 Froch* 2) 9-10 Kessler* 3) 9-10 Kessler* 4) 10-9 Froch 5) 10-9 Froch 6) 9-10 Kessler 7) 9-10 Kessler 8) 9-10 Kessler 9) 9-10 Kessler* 10) 10-9 Froch 11) 10-9 Froch* 12) 10-9 Kessler 113-115 Kessler The rounds with * are ones that could have gone either way or been even. Anything from 116-112 either way I would agree with.
Can't remember the exact breakdown of my scorecard but had Kessler winning, fairly sure I had it 115-113 to him
I had it Froch 115-113, either way it was a pickem....any one who says it was a clear cut fight doesn't know what clear cut means
I remember the whining of Froch and his fans, but I had Mikkel clearly up. It was a tough, competitive fight, but Kessler took about 8 rounds.
To be honest I don't think I've actually watched the fight again since I saw it live. I'm pretty sure I scored it 116-112, always having the impression that Kessler was ahead throughout. Froch started too slowly and then produced a mid-round surge, before Kessler came back to pinch a couple more, then they went to war in the last couple.
Just searched the actual RBR from the night. I had it 116-112 Kessler. http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=221344&page=23 People posting their cards from that page onwards.
Was a close fight and every round was competitive but had Kessler just doing more throughout the fight and winning something like 7rds to 5 or 6-4-2.
