Who deserved to win tonight, Lomachenko or Haney?

I saw a clear Lomachenko win, 116-112 or 117-111, over the much bigger man.

Haney's body punches were not as clean and effective as the commentary was telling us, because Loma was still very energetic in the late rounds, especially rounds 10 and 11.

Haney for the politics and profit of boxing, Lomachenko for the spirit of the sport. Its not easy but this was a great fight and what Mayweather vs Pacquiao should have been. Those last 3 rounds were a schooling of epic proportions on Haney.

    Lomachenko.

Winning the 12th would only give him a majority draw. Let that sink in.

I gotta be real I thought Haney won round 12. But still I had Lomachenko winning 8-4

He did, which is what made me very uncertain about the decision.

No, he was good enough. He clearly deserved to win, by 117-113 or 116-112.

Haney won it. He was more active, body work and jab was working all night, Loma had his moments but it wasn’t enough. Time for him to retire.

8-4 Loma. Easy fight to score if you take the blinders off.

Loma 116-112. Worst case scenario, it was 115-113 for him. Anything else is a mistake.

More punches thrown, more punches landed, more significant punches landed, dictated the pace, and had Haney hurt while Haney never even ruffled Loma. There was simply no aspect of the fight in which Haney was better.
