ive seen all the controversy about the fight and really dont see how some people have it as wide as they do. I have just watched it for the 1st time and i have it a draw... probably means i know fuk all yada yada rh10 dc9 rh10 dc9 rh10 dc9 rh9 dc10 rh9 dc10 rh10 dc9 rh10 dc9 rh9 dc10 rh9 dc10 rh9 dc10 rh10 dc9 rh9 dc10
There was one or two rounds in it at best, certainly no massive robbery. If I hadn't of watched the fight I would have sworn that Helenius was knocked down about 7 times from reading some of the posts on the British section of this forum.
Have a look at the General forum on the night and after...there are just as many non-british calling it a massive robbery
My full scorecard, Helenius first- 1.10-9 2.9-10 3.9-10 4.9-10 5.10-9 6.10-10 7.10-9 8.9-10 9.9-10 10.10-9 11.10-9 12.10-9 although by my own admission maybe I was swayed by the crowd a bit.
Only round I gave Rob Helenius was the 2nd. He was competitive in a few others but even then you'd have to be really looking to score them to him.
lol, If I were on the sauce that early there was no chance I would be in here posting about the Murray-Rios fight just after it finished! If I was chugging beers I would probably have retired to my kip at 1:30 in the morning, after arguing about the greatness of Ricky Burns and calling someone a biased englander.
Well, the vast majority of fans, fighters, promoters, trainers and journalists thought it was a massive robbery. Those who said it was close seem to be in the extreme minority, yet feel they are right and won't be swayed. I think 90% of the General had Chisora winning. More on the Brit though he won. It speaks volumes
I have to laugh to be honest at the bare faced cheek of brit boxing fans after some of the robberies that have happened on these shores in the recent past, but when a fin takes a split on his own turf the toys are thrown out of the pram by everyone connected to brit boxing... Just thought I would mention it after seeing that avatar.
