I had it a Sweep for Broner, he was hurting Maidana in those rounds. To the body, and the head. He was landing shots that made Maidana back up. So, I'm not buying that Adrian didn't bring his power up to 147. That knockdown in round 8 cost him the fight to me. Because he was in his zone. He didn't get his legs back untill the 12th round.

Even though he lost, even the haters gotta admit Broners a fukin beast!
I have never seen anybody stand in there and trade with Maidana like that for twelve rounds, actually take his shots, and back him up. Adrian was walking Maidana down with a broken jaw, and this was only his second fight above 135!
Yeah he ran out of the ring like a *****, but you gotta give him respect for his performance.
That is the reason why Mayweather Sr wants to train him now. He can see that Broner has it in him he just needs some schooling. I just hope AB makes the change.

After rewatching the fight my scorecard didn't change 7-5 Maidana.

At that point I had Broner down by 3 points. I remember I gave him the 3rd round for sure.

Round 5 for Broner, the rest for Maidana. Round 9 was a 10-8 round btw.

    3-7 I gave him 2 i think didnt give him any of the first 4, I think I scored it 9-3 or 8-4 = 116-109/115-110

Broner hardly stood there and traded with him, Ortiz and Khan were more aggressive than him - neither of them rolled on the ground to try to get MM DQ'd, Broner did show heart, but stand in there and trade with Maidana he did not.

The only way you can give Broner any rounds is by saying he was more accurate and made Maidana miss more.

There where times he was doing that, but Maidana was still landing more total shots, and those shots were harder than what Broner was landing.

In any case, Broner didn't win any rounds clearly, where as Maidana won many rounds very clearly.

If you ask yourself, "which fighter would I rather be" at any given point in that fight - your answer would be Maidana throughout the whole fight.

Just because Maidana wasn't beating hiss ass so badly from 3-7, doesn't mean Broner was turning the fight around, he was just surviving.

Maidana won rounds 3 and 4 for me. broner won rounds 5 and 6 but they were close. Same with round 7 that i gave Maidana. It doesn't matter anyway because 1-4 and 8-11 are so big in maidana's favor it isn't close. the most you can give Broner is 4 rounds and i gave him 3.

I feel alot of people give Broner some rounds he shouldnt get be getting because he did better than in round 1 and 2.

Just doing better though doesnt necessarily mean you win the rounds though.
