I agree that the 2nd knockdown, just the whole sequence of punches for me was so impressive by Ruiz that swung the whole of the round in his favor, resulting in Ruiz winning the round by 2 points. But just for the sake of argument, if the round would have ended with 10 seconds left, before that 2nd knockdown sequence, I think it would be tough to decide on a score with each only having the 1 knockdown.
If that was the case you'd go 10-10 or 10-9 if you thought Ruiz dominated the round widely enough. I think I would have called it 10-10.
Hey @The Professor This is just doing mind head in, trying to work it out cause obviously Im just a casual, but under the rules of boxing this seems imposible, so please grant me your wisdom so I may become a better scorer, I beg your understanding of the game
As others have said : 10-8 Ruiz Two knockdowns in a clear winning round usually gets a fighter 10-7. But since Joshua scored a clean knockdown too, it comes in at 10-8.
