3rd was 10-8, Pascal stole the 5th and the 8th and 12th could go either way. I gave the 8th to Hopkins, 12th to Pascal.
So ypu score it EVEN and still say Hopkins won it. Get real anyway, if there was a 10-10 round in that fight, it's round 1 not round 3.
Here's my scorecard and notes: 01 10-8 JP ------> Weird KD end of round (hit back of head) 02 10-9 BH* ---> Close. Not sure of this, but think 03 10-8 JP ------> Balance shot KD 04 10-9 BH ----> Slip no KD w/ BH 05 10-9 JP ------> Good JP stick, moving 06 10-9 BH ----> Good round. JP moving, not doing so much 07 10-9 BH ----> BH catching up with him now. JP fading, as he did in CD fight 08 10-9 BH ----> Even fight now, for me. I think 2 unoff judges have it same 09 10-9 BH ----> Great round; BH timing him now. Could only have JP up 1, at best 10 10-9 BH* ---> Close round. JP busier, but BH landing clean shots 11 10-9 BH ----> BH doing well. BH KD not called 12 10-9 BH ----> YES ----------------------- 115-111 BH ----> 9-3 BH rounds ----> 7-5 BH rounds (113-113) at best for Pascal
No matter how you look at it, Hopkins won by at least 2 rounds, if you see it otherwise, you don't know **** about boxing.
Yeh Hopkins deserved the win but we score fights on points not how they look. Maybe not a draw but a very, very close decision and no 'robbery'.
Hopkins will feel robbed after his performance inwhich he done enough to win clearly Thats enough to make it a robbery
115-112 Hopkins. Borderline robbery. I thought he was finished earlier on and not just because of the knockdowns.
