His scruples were probably damaged beyond repaid between the Cintron robbery and not getting the nod the first time against Williams.
I had it 8-4 but I was being generous to Williams. A lot of posters here have it in their minds that backing up means you are losing rounds, bull****, its a defense mechanism, if your backing up and not throwing punches or not landing then yes you are losing. dude its pathetic even Williams knew that he lost that fight. Yeah I know Teddy Atlas can be annoying at times but if that **** happened on his watch as a commentator he would have slit those judges throats on tv.
He won't. There's no need for it and noone would want to see it. Btw, a Lara-PW rematch also won't happen, imo. There's very little to win and much more to lose as far as Williams is concerned. In any case, I don't think anyone really saw Lara coming out of this fight as the loser.
The one big positive out of how this weekend unfolded is that Molina raised his profile in a big way, while Lara is now in a position of somewhat having his back to the wall (even though he should have won, he technically is winless in two straight outings) and might be in a position where he needs a rematch with Molina to stay on the big stage, taking the gamble on settling the score there to guarantee himself a headlining slot on TV (which they would definitely get; fan interest has to be way up for them to meet up again after how they both did tonight). That is a fight I'd very much like to see. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=326997
10 rounds to 2 although you can make an argument for 9-3 as a few were close and could go either way. but that was worse than a liquor store robbery in the ghetto.
I gave Lara the first three rounds, then I stopped scoring because I honestly thought Williams was gonna get knocked out. Williams won 3 rounds at best.
hav'nt watched it yet but will do and get back to you good experience for lara tho .....stepping up in class and going 12
I watched it without the volume the first time an had it a draw. Watched it a second time with the volume and couldn't pay attention because I was laughing so hard because Roy jones was calling a fighter washed up and needing to retire
I had the fight 118-111, 9 rounds to 2 and 1 even, for Lara. This was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen. Maybe even worse than Holyfield-Lewis.
I had it 9-3 rounds for Lara. One of those rounds could of gone either way but for sure Lara won at least 9 rounds.
