I had it 9-3 to usyk. Commentators on my stream were so biased for fury I had to turn the sound off. Usyk would land a jab then a stra8ght to the body, fury would throw a right, usyk would take it on his glove and land another couple of shots, Commentators scream "great right hand from fury"
Usyk Usyk Usyk Fury close (could argue round for Usyk) Fury Usyk Usyk Usyk Fury Usyk close (could argue round for Fury) Usyk Usyk Watching live 117/111 Can see 116/112 if the 10th went to Fury
117-111 I gave Fury 3 rounds, maybe 4 if I was being generous. Fury had a few moments of success here and there but it was patchy, he never sustained it without Usyk punctuating the exchanges. Additionally the rounds I gave Fury were all very close and could have been 10-10. The majority of rounds Usyk won, he won much clearer IMO. Especially in the first half of the fight Usyk invested early and often to the body and he couldn't miss that Belly!
lol, predictable. But what can one expect from a Roy Keane (scumbag soccer thug) supporter. Old guys have always done the "back in my day" thing even without the media propaganda. You consistently can't pick an Usyk fight correctly (your initial pick was Fury, just as it was in the first fight, along with Dubois and Joshua x2) where things are held equal (technology, PED's, ruleset) and there are mutual opponents, you are not likely to be any better picking between eras.
I thought Usyk was terrible and Fury didn't have to do much to win. Blind Covid hysteria seems to have seeped into boxing!
I do not usually say it, but judges did a really solid professional job in Usyk-Fury rematch today! Pity that they screwed poor Dave Allen.
They both looked poor.. looked like a lesser skilled Beterbiev Bivol .. came down to the championship rounds for me & Usyk won em. Same as Beterbiev. 7-5 Usyk.
I had it either a draw or Usyk by one round. I lost track mid fight somewhere. Fury did well in some respects and I thought the fight was definitely closer than the first but somehow Fury also looked physically worse than before. I get that he wanted to take the centre of the ring but a mobile fighter can take the centre or box and move, an immobile fighter can only stand in the centre. Yes yes, weight trade-off etc. But my hunch is that Fury's knees are gone amongst other things. I think this was his absolute best effort given the state of his body and it still wasn't enough. Refer to my "Tragedy of the Gypsy King" post from after the first fight, everything i say there still holds true. Fury should retire, there's no guarantee he could beat any top contenders anymore. Usyk should as well really, I don't think he has anything more to prove. Maybe if he beats Itauma he can say he beat the best of this gen, the next gen, and the gen after that too!
I have Usyk bias but want to be honest. I had it draw and OK with a point win to either side. Fury upped his game and fought a great fight. He posed difficulties to Usyk until he got tired. This one needs a TRILOGY.
