Yep - but draw as a small minority opinion (or minority at all) is a SD for Fury.

To get to a draw from 3 cards you need majority draw or you need someone to score it for Wilder - both of which seem inappropriate given how the fight went...

    The Beauty of Pro Boxing......

    "Scoring" a fight from home.....lol

Unless you sit Ringside you have absolute no business of judging a fight.End of.

My card means jack, your card means jack, the judges cards are the one that matter. Fact.

It is comical that some Armchair pistoleros "judging" fights off youtube, most cases they were not even born when those fights went down or in their diapers, same "experts" have never been Ringside or even at a Live major event, never seen a Boxing Gym from the inside and dont have a clue how to wrap hands..........but they are "Expert Judges" off the couch .....

Fury won it by 4-5 points on my card. It was only close due to the knockdowns and Fury was the away fighter.

Why are you so bitter ? Like honestly every thread yoy post in you have nothing positive to say with your snarky comments.

It's quite clear to anyone with a bit common sense and knowing the rules of boxing what a bad decision looks like, don't try and give me the moral elitist high ground on a boxing forum.

You don't have to be a boxer or sit at "ringside" to know what a bad decision looks like.

You can't see any way someone could give Wilder five rounds?

Wilder threw more punches in 11 of the 12 rounds. Fury was cut on the forehead. His nose was bleeding. He was floored in two separate rounds.

    Somebody was hitting him.

Wilder won the ninth. Wilder won the 12th. You gave him round 2. That's three.

Watch the fifth round. Just pull it up on its own and watch that round 5 by itself.

Wilder won Round 5. I have no idea how anyone could score round five for Fury. He did nothing.

    There's four rounds.

Watch round 4. By itself. You don't see how anyone could give that round to Wilder? Close round and Fury went back to his corner with blood pouring out of his nose.

    There's your five rounds.

That's not counting round 1, which you said, yourself, was close. There's six.

Fury was winning round 8 and started to pour it on. Clearly winning the round. But at the very end, Wilder landed a big shot at the end of round eight on Fury that clearly hurt Fury. He started mugging, but you could tell he was hurt as he headed to his corner. It was harder than the shot that put him down in the next round. I'd give Fury the round, but, if you were sitting a few feet away and saw that, it could impress you.

Its disingenuous to pretend that wasn't a competitive, close fight. You could flip a coin as to who won half the rounds in that fight.

It would've been bad if they gave the decision to either guy, truthfully.

I thought it was a fair call. Both guys did great.

Spoken like someone who hasn't boxed and hasn't sat ringside. ;)

I can't tell you how many fights I watched live and then came home to find people who saw it on television saw it completely differently.

Harder punches have a greater impression on people in the arena. They just do.

    Start attending fights. You'll see.

Fury is an absolute diva, threat ducking coward.

But, after all the abuse he inflicted on his body he came back in emphatic style and schooled the bronze bambi in their first fight. Wilder won 2 rounds…

That one decision screwed up the HW division for the 5 years that followed.

Actually i went to boxing gym and did the training/sparring for quite awhile when i was teenager, never had an official fight never wanted to just wanted to learn how to protect myself. Not really sure why that would make a difference me having a few Amateur fights in regards to knowing how to score a fight. If you have good boxing knowledge and know the rules/criteria on how to score fights, then basically it's about having a good pair of eyes it's not rocket science to see bad decisions in boxing.

As for "Wilders hard punches" tell me when that happened in a majority of the rounds ? i see Fury slipping and rolling with most of Wilder's punches.

115-111 is an awful scorecard and there's no defending it.

You have a point, a friend of mine boxed on a card where I was close to ringside , I had him losing the fight 6 rounds to 4 and I was biased.
The rest of my crew were several rows back and they had him winning the fight 6-3-1 or 6-4 . It was a great talk on the way home about what we'd seen and I explained that most of our pals shots were blocked and the other guys landed more cleanly and with better effect.
P.S. our Buddy won the fight on a very close SD..

Yeah if you're biased and giving Wilder the benefit of the doubt in every somewhat debatable round, i guess you can somehow conjure up giving Wilder 5 rounds which is a stretch to say the least.

I guess the judge who scored it 115-111 to Wilder was objectively scoring the fight aswell.

You keep harping on one scorecard. I'm not defending that card. I wasn't a judge. I shouldn't have to find rounds to support that guy.

I thought a draw was a fair verdict. I don't think you need to be a part of some vast conspiracy to score five rounds for Wilder in that fight. Other than a couple rounds both guys clearly won, most of the rounds were close.

Did you watch round 5? Can you see how someone would give that to Wilder?

Did you watch round 4? Can you see how someone would give that to Wilder?

If you can see how someone could, there's your five rounds.

    I've gotta go.

115 - 111 for Wilder actually means he won 7 rounds and Fury 5 rounds. That's right, if I'm not mistaken in counting the knockdowns.
    A disaster.
