I had it the same. I don't recall it being all that hard to score. Hmm...I wonder why DAZN haven't released the full fight and all they left us with are some tailored highlights and fabricated punch stats One thing I did also note, is there have been a number of pro-Hrgovic cards added to Eye on the Ring which didn't exist a couple of days after the fight. Which is also a little odd considering the fight seems to have been scrubbed from the internet.
Thanks, I think I'll have to watch it back. As it was entertaining. Just did a quick tally of Eyes-on-the-ring from around fight night: 19 fans scored it for Zhang (with eight of those scoring it wider than 114-113) 8 fans scored it for Hrgovic (with one fan scoring it wider than 113-114) I'll be interested to see how I score it on a rewatch
I made a topic about this a little while ago. All other fights of the evening Usyk vs Joshua II are still on DAZN. There is clearly a desire to make this fight disappear.
Just rewatched it and got the same card as you there. Probably I would say I might have given Zhang round 11 the first time I watched it, but I can't remember if I scored it 115-112 of 114-113 to Zhang. Some notes: It was pretty much as I remembered it, Hrgovic mostly getting moved around the ring by Zhang behind a high guard. Hrgovic was the more active, but was mainly landing on gloves and elbows or just about catching Zhang's body as he would take a step out of range. Zhang was far less active, but was controlling the action with his pressure. Zhang also had consistently the cleaner more eye catching shots, and would often win the exchanges when they traded even in some of the later rounds when his activity dropped off a cliff. Knock down in Round 1 was legit. The punch landed, and there were no complaints from Hrgovic. The reverse camera angle clearly shows the hook connecting The slip in Round 11 was an obvious slip. The reverse camera angle clearly shows Zhang doing the splits before the punch lands on the back of his head. Actually, it's also funny to me that some claim Zhang should have lost for turning his back and falling back to his corner exhausted at the end of Round 12. Especially, after Hrgovic looked like he didn't know where he was after eating a heavy combination at the end of round 9. Rounds 5 and 11 were the closest rounds, if a fan of the Croatian's activity wants to give both rounds to Hrgovic that would be a 114-113. So, yeah, I still don't see where 8 rounds for Hrgovic came from for those crazy 115-112 x2 score cards. UD to Hrgovic was a gift.
Having just watched it back, it will be because of the official score cards and the crowd reaction. If they had given a more measured SD, probably there would be a few grumbles, desire for a rematch, and the fight would be up on YouTube. But a UD with not one, but two 115-112...No wonder they want to bury it. It really needed an immediate rematch. And even though I think Zhang won the fight, I do recognize Hrgovic had just lost his father, and so I suspect Hrgovic would likely put in a better performance for the rematch. Sadly, Hrgovic's handlers didn't seem to want to risk it.
I had it 114-113 Zhang although I could see an argument for 115-112 for Zhang or maybe 114-113 for Hrgovic. The final scorecards imo were rubbish and Zhang deserved something out their fight. Needs a rematch this one.
Haha Nice one. All for Zhang after reewatch. Knockedown legit. Hrgovic beat on block Zhang throwing 300 less punches controled fight XD Nice one. Bravo. You forget saying that replay of clean shots was same from both xD
Thank you. You know, this is a great opportunity for you to finally watch the fight. @CST80 posted a Russian link above. Alternatively, I guess you can stick to YouTube shorts and trying to score fights with Compubox
Off course I watch fight again. That was great fight soo. I just started. I'm at round 5 and for now 1. For me KD was not legit. Hrgovic was much much better at this round. 2. No idea why You scored round 4 for Zhang. Much more shots from Hrgovic. Hope u dont score it for Zhang because they show his best combos in replay and one of not clean from Hrgovic. 10-9 for Filip.
1. For you.XD lol biased much? It was a shot that landed behind the ear with some follow through. Hrgovic went down. Then got up. The referee administered a count. Hrgovic took the count without complaint then proceeded to back peddle for the rest of the round. i.e. all indications were it was a legitimate KD.
