Yes it is the same was true for murray when he fought groves.

all i am saying was i expected more from dirrel not necessarily a stoppage but more of a offensive performance i promise you if you watch the fight you will come back and say how scared dirrel fought

I'm 135, so I wouldn't think of fighting GGG, but if I had to it wouldn't be how you said.

Dirrell has all the physical attributes to be a top boxer today but he just doesn't have the gutts, mental fortitude & emotional toughness to be a top tier fighter he lacks class.

Well if you're capable of beating him another way then by all means, go for it. I'd obviously test the waters and see how he tastes my power and vice versa. But I'm not going to go in guns blazing against someone that outguns me. That's what game planning and execution is for. Too many fighters get hit and then abandon their game plan, making it too easy for Golovkin.

Round 1, feel him out, check his speed and timing, jab jab jab.
Round 2, bait him into leading and attempt to counter, assess his reflexes and how he takes it.

But if he's got me against the ropes or cornered, I'm going to clinch. Let the ref separate us so I have a better chance. If I'm having success offensively, then obviously step it up. Why would I give my opponent a chance?

I think you both are a couple of nerds who need to post on a boxing message board to feel manly but to each his own.
