How different will Mayweather's career have been if he lost against Castillo?

A large part of his legacy was about the '0'.

I finally watched Floyd vs Castillo.

Going into the 12th.. At worst, at worst it was a even fight.

Castillo clearly won that last round. Many score cards had him ahead going into the 12th.... in the first place.

The judges scorecards was pure bull****. But it is what it is. The fight's over,
but how different would Floyd's career had been if he lost the '0' that night?

Not much different at all. I thought Floyd won the first fight and he easily won the 2nd fight. I think he still would have reached the level that he is at.

If Floyd had lost to Castillo, he would've took a lot of more risky fights and fighters would be terrify of him bc he would be a hungry fighter with nothing to lose. With that being said. He would fought like the young floyd for a lot longer thats for sure.

I had floyd winning in castillo I. Floyd had the first five rounds before his shoulder gave out. Even the middle rounds were swings and can score for either side with Castillo coming on strong in the last 4 rounds. Either way it was not enough and too late.

I didn't think it was a robbery back then, I don't think it's a robbery now. Was it a close fight? Sure, but I can't see how Castillo won that fight. Unless you decide to be Puny Tim and not score jabs and count shoulder shots as clean shots to the body I really don't know what to tell you.

If Floyd lost that fight he wouldn't be the Juggernaut he is today. He'd be big, but not that big.

There is no doubt that Castillo took little Floyd to school that night.

Floyd wouldn't be the money Floyd he is today because people don't pay to see his boring fights. They pay to see him lose.

On the flip side this would of probably made floyd a better boxer and more of a risk taker. Pac vs may would of happened.

floyd lost a point in a round he won, 9-9, early on. Castillo won a point in a round he was easily winning, 10-8. it's not justifiable

if you score it for floyd,ur scoring 4 skin colour and not punches landed and thrown

Floyd won the first 5 out of the first 6 rounds on most cards. He was injured as well and yes he won 7 rounds. Castillo fought a great fight but it was too late. People tend to forget what happens early on in the fight.

Not much of a change...he would have had a rematch beat Castillo easily...then took on as many hard/big fights as possible...the "0" was not that big a deal when he was young & hungry...but when he has been fighting for 16 yrs...with no one really coming close to beating him "convincingly" then the underfeated thing became a selling point...

In his youth he was not that bothered...he wanted to drop down in weight after the Corrales fight to fight Naseem Hamed...

This is why I can't take your opinion seriously. Your ignorance and bias shine through like a 1998 Chrome Mustang Cobra. Puny puny puny Tim why are you upset Puny Tim?

People who claims that it was a robbery must've just watched the last four rounds of the fight bc it was pretty clear that FLoyd won the first 5 rounds so at the worst all he had to score was one swing round, and there was 3 swing rounds.

Floyd is my fave guy now but he lost this fight, 6-5-1 with a 10-8 round for Castillo, even round for Floyd, 9-9.
