Or...call me crazy but I think most people who say it was a robbery never watched the fight. They see certain other people say it so they just go along and say it themselves. Ya' know, to try and sound smart on the internet.

Such a crazy idea don't you think? :happy

The question should be, how different would Mayweathers career have been had he not fought Oscar De La Hoya?

+ castillo was the champ on the night. It was a ****ing travesty.

mayweather was the up and coming young HBO fighter.

if he came back and beat Castillo decisively it wouldn't be a big deal. A loss is not that big a deal. Didn't hurt Manny Pacman or Marvin Hagler at all.

He may have been retired by now and Sugar Shane would still be WW champ.

I for one think that compubox was really off this night. I remember the 5th round punch stats to be totally off.

I wouldn't complain how anyone scored the fight, it was very close. I do believe that compubox was off that night and may have affected people's opinions of the fight.

if he lost to castillo the first time then floyd wouldve fought the risky fights back then such as cotto, margarito, etc. since he wouldnt be able to brag about his precious "0" and thus avoid protecting it...:p

I think we would have seen a more active and more daring Floyd because he would not be so worried about that stupid 0.

And i did think Castillo won close but quite clear.
