How do Americans feel about Froch? Do you like him?

pride and arrogance is ok, IF you back it up. The thing is, he is one who DOES back it up....

Michael Jordan & Kobe Bryant sometimes can come off arrogant.... but yeah, they obviously can back it up. Its all good if you can walk your talk.
Its alright to have some swag, especially if you're a ****ing fighter and an ass-whooper

 

Ive always liked Froch, he is a great fighter, and always puts on a good effort..

I agree with that, but it doesnt make him any more likeable to me. I still watch when he fights so im a fan of what he brings in the ring. Still im almost always gonna pull for his opponents.

 

I love froch... He's a cave man, I like that ****!

 

cuz some peeps, including "commentators" and stuff try to start polarizing ****, as if we're someone different or special. But it happens in other countries to. "Do you think 'this country' will accept this person and blah blah blah." Or, "Do you think this artist will translate or accepted into 'this country.' " Because they feel the 'general or whole' populace operate as some collective or mindset, as if we're the ****ing borg.

But just as you're saying, who ****ing cares, and those who "speak" for the nation need to get over themselves... and those who are spoken for will wake up and realize its bull**** and start speaking for themselves as individuals...

 

WTF is wrong with the British press? Degale v Groves, an interesting but unimportant fight between young fighters, is a huge event, but Carl Froch, the best British boxer out there gets ignored at home? That's criminal .

 

Outside the ring, not a fan. He's fun enough in the ring though, his fans irk me at times but I try not to hold that against him.

 

I agree about that chin. Its like Foch's bullit proof vest. I ain't knocking it cause if you got it Flaught it. However I would like to see him fight somebody with the power and talent to chin check him on a regular basis. Then I can get a look at his real boxing skills.:yep

 

It's difficult not to like Froch.
