I guess you will have to ask the likes of Tyson Fury, Hughie Fury Canelo and Many Many more that tested positive but were let off.

Unfortunately it will take someone getting killed by a fighter on PED's and the guilty party going to jail for a long time to make guys think long and hard before cheating like that.

Some of them wouldn't have a career without roids. Tommy Morrison said he would never have been a heavy-weight without them. Evan Fields might never have been heavyweight champ without juice either.

Holyfield wouldn't have even been champion at cruiserweight without them if what Qawi claimed was true, which I believe to be so. Whenever you see Holyfield finding that "second wind", the sheer amount of sudden effectiveness he gains over his opponent even when on the verge of being destroyed is unnatural.

No one and I mean no one ever fights back that hard when they're hurt and out of stamina like Holyfield does. I mean look at Holmes. He has monstrous stamina, got sparked out by Shavers, recovered and still went on to win the fight. Impressive, but did he pull a massive flurry on Shavers like he was 100% full of energy again? Hell naw. He was still leery/wobbly and fought with very little ferocity, about what you'd expect from someone who was hurt. Is Holyfields stamina better than Holmes? I doubt it.

Holyfield is a great fighter, but unfortunately too many of his greatest accomplishments are tainted with steroids to where you don't even know if he'd have won any of his greatest battles without the help of steroids.

Probably most are on peds. But if your making your living by fighting I think it’s pretty easy to justify making yourself as physical as possible. Because if you’re not more physically fit than your opponent you could get quite a bit of brain damage. Basically someone is going to get seriously hurt I’d rather it be the other guy.

Holyfield won the championship by blowing out an extremely overweight, under-trained one hit wonder. He didn’t need roids for Douglas. I believe he didn’t really start juicing until after the first Bowe fight. For as great as Evander was, at 6’2” and 205lbs, he wasn’t going to be able to compete with 6’5” 235 guys like Lewis and Bowe.

Why would a professional athlete feel bad for cheating in order to be better than his competition? If you're seriously asking that question you have no idea the type of mindset needed to compete in any paid sport, let alone one where the risks of you not being at your best are permanent brain damage and death. Besides, how the hell do you know your opponent is 100% clean in the first place? Because he's not yet tested positive on any of the joke tests for his previous fights (assuming they were even applied)?

Also, when your job is to punch people in the face as hard as you can for a living, I'm pretty sure you're not going to have any scruples about sticking a few needles in your butt.
